What’s new

Better tournaments, one update at a time. Here’s what’s changed for the people running them—and the people playing.

Latest update

More playing. Less managing.

Our first roundup brings together recent improvements to running tournaments, joining the competition and keeping everyone connected.

For directors

Choose the right tournament
The creation menu now makes the difference clear: Quick bracket needs only players and a format, One-time adds event setup, and Recurring keeps one sign-up link across editions.
Change players without starting over
Replace a player by name or invite someone’s account into their spot. Their bracket position and existing results stay in place, with the original name crossed out so the change is clear.
Make room for late arrivals
Fill an available bye when the bracket allows it, or replace a departing player with a bye. If a new draw is needed, you’ll confirm before results are cleared.
Hand off the tournament—not ownership
Share a helper link with your own four-digit code so someone else can keep the tournament moving. They don’t need an account; if they’re already signed in, Scheduelr uses that account automatically. You stay the owner.
Know where the tournament stands
Tournament lists show the bracket’s actual status and progress. Empty rosters can’t start a tournament, and running events link to the existing bracket instead of offering another start.

For players

Recurring events keep the right roster
While a tournament is running, its players remain visible and registration is closed. After it finishes, the recurring sign-up page moves to the next edition.
Find the night—and the next one
Locations show played tournaments first and recurring events with their weekday. When an edition is in progress, you can see who’s playing and when the next one is scheduled.
Keep the conversation going
Open a completed tournament from its location history to read comments. Sign in to add your own, and remove your comments whenever you want.
Your activity, clearly separated
Profiles show events you created separately from tournaments you played. Organizing a tournament doesn’t count as playing in it; participation follows roster spots linked to your account.

For everyone

Find your dashboard without guessing
The How to use guide now includes real screenshots showing where to open Dashboard, find your tournaments and start a new event.
Spectators can share, too
A QR button at the top of spectator view opens the code and viewing link, making it easier to get everyone following the same bracket.
Choose your look
Neutral, pastel, dynamic and seasonal themes give your tournament a different feel, with light and dark choices. Your saved appearance stays yours.
Give your ideas a home
Post a change request and upvote or downvote suggestions from others. Feedback helps shape what comes next.
